Read the reviews and bought it. The game in itself is ok, not in the same league as Stardew Valley but still playable. Now the reason why I do not recommend this game. If you are a person with normal views on family values, gender and e.t.c, then this game is not for you. The design of the characters is very bizzare to me - men looking like women and vice versa. Playing this game was an awkward experience for me. There are no straight characters in this game...no matter who you play as (male\/female\/rubber duck), all of them will propose to date you at some point in your relationship. In this game you can't be friends with someone without them blabbing about how much they like you and want to get together. I tried to close my eyes to all of the above and role play as a normal guy, but the last straw for me was when my wife ingame refered to our newborn baby as THEY and the game doesn't even give a gender to the baby....thanks but no thanks, I really tried to get into all the characters stories, but it just turns out most of them are freaks of nature. I am really getting sick and tired of "woke" and "inclusive" games. This was my first and last mistake.TL;DRCAUTION - "WOKE" AND "INCLUSIVE" GAME!!!. I enjoyed this game. The dialog is pretty interesting and changes fairly frequently. The events are cool, and the concept of animal and plant genetics and splicing, is interesting.But some of the art is just really lame, where you can see white pixel outlines around the sprite. It just doesn't match up to everything else. Automatic sprinklers are also really broken; sometimes one tile just doesn't get watered... or is the only one that does. Sometimes if you choose to just "sleep" through days, the sprinklers don't go off at all and your crops don't get watered.. I really enjoyed this game! It was a lot of fun making progress building things, farming and interacting with\/unlocking more characters. Will be keen to replay sometime in the future.
